Cercle Brugge has reached an agreement with Greek side Kifisia for the permanent transfer of Lazare Amani. The 28-year-old Belgian-Ivorian midfielder has signed a two-year contract until June 2028.

With the arrival of Lazare Amani (1.72m), Cercle Brugge adds a wealth of Jupiler Pro League experience to its squad. The Ivorian international has already made more than 230 official appearances in Belgium. He first played for Eupen and Charleroi before enjoying his most successful spell at Union Saint-Gilloise, where he won the Croky Cup in 2024. On the international stage, Lazare was part of the Ivory Coast squad that triumphed on home soil at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Following his time at Union, Lazare joined Standard Liège. Since September last year, he has been playing in the Greek top flight. He now returns to Belgium.

**Technical Director Luciano Murchio**: “We are very pleased to welcome Lazare Amani to Cercle. He is a player with extensive experience in this league, particularly with Union, one of the strongest teams of recent seasons. Lazare fits perfectly into our style of play: dynamic, brave in possession, and with the intensity required to defend. He brings balance to our squad and will help the players around him grow. We are looking forward to seeing the impact he will have on the team.”
