**Cercle Brugge has strengthened its squad with the addition of young Mexican winger Heriberto Jurado. The 20-year-old left winger joins from Mexican top-flight club Necaxa and has signed a contract until 2028, with an option for an additional season.**

Heriberto Jurado came through the youth ranks of Necaxa and made his Liga MX debut at just 16 years old.

His talent did not go unnoticed, as in 2022, the renowned English newspaper *The Guardian* included him in its prestigious "Next Generation" list, alongside names such as Arda Güler (Real Madrid) and Mathys Tel (Bayern Munich).

Despite only recently celebrating his 20th birthday, the left-footed winger has already made 84 appearances in Mexico’s top division.

At Cercle, Heriberto will be given the time and support to continue his development. He has chosen the number 23 shirt and will join the squad as soon as all administrative formalities are completed.

He is a player with great acceleration, technical ability, and strong dribbling skills, combined with a solid shooting technique. There was a lot of interest in him during previous transfer windows, and we are delighted that he has chosen our project.”
