Cercle Brugge has ended its collaboration with Ferdinand Feldhofer.

The Austrian was appointed head coach in mid-December with the aim of getting Cercle out of the danger zone as quickly as possible. Despite a good start, this did not succeed, and Cercle finished the regular season in a disappointing 13th place in the standings.

Cercle will now play the Relegation Play-offs in the coming weeks to secure its place in the Jupiler Pro League.

Information about Ferdinand Feldhofer's successor will be communicated shortly. Cercle thanks Ferdinand for his efforts and wishes him much success in his future career.
