**Cercle Brugge has strengthened its squad with Ibrahima Diaby. The 18-year-old French midfielder joins the team from Paris Saint-Germain and has signed a contract until 2029, with an option for an additional season.**

Ibrahima came through the youth academy at PSG and featured last season for both the U19 and U23 sides of the current Champions League winners.

As captain of the U19s, the Frenchman played a key role in helping the team win the national title last season. He also appeared in the UEFA Youth League for the Parisians.

Naturally a defensive midfielder, Ibrahima combines physical dominance with composure on the ball. At Cercle, he now gets the opportunity to take the next step in his career.
