**Cercle Brugge have added extra firepower to their attack with the arrival of Dante Vanzeir (27). The Belgian striker joins the club on loan from KAA Gent until the end of the season, with an option to buy included in the deal.**

With Vanzeir, Cercle welcome a familiar name in Belgian football. The dynamic forward completed his youth development at KRC Genk before gaining valuable experience with Beerschot and KV Mechelen.

His breakthrough came at Union Saint-Gilloise, where he consistently found the net in both the Challenger Pro League and the Jupiler Pro League. In 91 appearances for the Brussels side, Vanzeir scored 48 goals and provided 21 assists.

Those performances earned him a first cap for the Belgian national team as well as a move to Major League Soccer, where he joined the New York Red Bulls. After nearly two seasons in the United States – including a run to the MLS final – Vanzeir returned to Belgium last winter with KAA Gent.

Now, the clinical striker starts a new chapter at Cercle Brugge, where he will wear the green and black at least until the end of the season.
